Nom Pom is one of those snacks every Khmer person loves. Honestly, we’ve never met anyone who doesn’t. It’s a simple treat made from flour, coconut, and sesame seeds. There are also different versions, like coconut or pandan flavor.
We really love it. Growing up in Cambodia, the smell and taste of Nom Pom are everywhere. It’s part of everyday life and something you find all across the country. You can usually get one for around $0.30 from street vendors.
