Nom Ah Kao is a unique food from Cambodia. It’s made with ripped palm fruits and slightly sweet with coconut flavor. It can be dessert or snack. You can buy this almost everywhere around Cambodia. Most of the time you can find it freshly made in the morning around any city center.
If you can’t find this, you can ask any tuk tuk driver and any Khmer people you can find and ask them where you can try this.
Flavor is different between regions, however, they all taste great. I would compare this to banana bread, but a bit starchy and fluffy.
