Welcome to Phnom Penh! If it’s your first time here, the Royal Palace is the perfect place to start. The gold rooftop of the build is one of the iconic building in the city. This is the perfect place for your first day in Phnom Penh city. It’s along Mekong River where you can see local people plus it’s a walking distant to the Nation Museum.
Where should you go?
The Palace only open in the morning and close around noon. So you might want to get there early and spend time walking around to learn about some of the Khmer culture.
Tips
- You need to get up early and it closes around noon.
- No photo are allowed inside the building.
- Ticket is $10 per person for foriegner.
- Every is required to wear pants, shorts or dresses below the knees. You also have an option to buy pants at the entrance.
