This is the best place to go at night. Our team and family have been to Siem Reap countless times and we think it’s the safest place in Cambodia, not that other places aren’t safe too. After a long day visiting temples in the heat, nothing feels better than coming back to rest for a bit, then heading out to Pub Street in the evening.
What is it?
Pub Street is a lively walking street right in the center of Siem Reap. This is the spot where everyone goes after dark. As the name says, there are plenty of pubs and bars lining the street. You can find all kinds of food here too, from traditional Khmer dishes to Western comfort food. And if you feel like picking up a souvenir, there are small shops and stalls all around.

When’s a good time to visit Pub Street?
It generally starts to wake up around 5 PM, but most people show up later, around 8 PM. That’s when the music kicks in, the lights come on, and the street really comes alive with food, drinks, and people from everywhere.
Local tip:
Keep an eye on your stuff and pace yourself. Pub Street is a lot of fun and it’s easy to get carried away if you’re not careful.
